Logging in to ibi MDM
You can get the login company name, username, and password from your administrator.
- Procedure
- In the Company Name field, type your company name. The company name is not case sensitive. The Company name can be defaulted by your administrator.
- In the User Name field, type your username. The case-sensitivity of the username depends on configuration. You can try different combinations or contact your System Administrator about case-sensitivity.
- If you want ibi MDM to use a different language from the default (American English or British English, depending on the default language of your browser), click the Language link in the upper-right corner of the Login page. A list of configured languages is displayed.
- Select the language that you want to use.
- In the Password field, type your password. The password is case-sensitive. For information, see Characteristics of Strong Password and Password Restrictions.
- Click
Login.
If your company has configured a single sign-on, you may not see the Login page because the sign-on happens automatically. If the login verification is configured to work with your company’s LDAP, enter your LDAP credentials as username and password. With single sign-on and LDAP, you cannot change the password using the My Account Profile page. To access the My Account Profile page, expand the username - company name icon on the upper-right corner of the main UI and then select Profile.
Note: If you are logging in to ibi MDM for the first time, then after clicking Login, the Reset Password page is displayed. You must change the password provided by your administrator. For information, see Changing or Resetting Forgotten Passwords.
Account Locked
Your account is locked after three invalid login attempts. After you are locked out of the application, you cannot log in again until the account is unlocked. To unlock the account, contact the system administrator or click Reset Password.
After an administrator unlocks the account and after you enter the correct password in the Password field, then you are redirected to the Reset Password page. For information, see Changing or Resetting Forgotten Passwords.
