Exporting Metadata

Procedure

Select the business objects for export as follows:
- Use the export metadata wizard, see Export Metadata Wizard.
- Create an XML file listing the business objects.
Export the selected business objects.
- If you use the export metadata wizard approach for selecting the business objects, use the following two ways of exporting:
  Using UI. See Exporting Metadata Using UI (Wizard Approach).
  
  Using Command Line. See Exporting Metadata Using Command Line (Wizard Approach)
- If you use the XML file approach h for selecting the business objects, use the following two ways of exporting:
  Using UI. See Exporting Metadata Using UI (File Approach)
  
  Using FileWatcher. See Importing Metadata Using FileWatcher
