Upgrading TIBCO MFT Command Center
You can upgrade TIBCO MFT Command Center from a previous version.
Some steps in the upgrading process varies depending on the version of TIBCO MFT Command Center you have installed presently.
Both TIBCO MFT Command Center and TIBCO MFT Internet Server can be installed on the same server sharing a database as long as different ports are used. By default, TIBCO MFT Command Center uses port 8080 for HTTP and port 8443 for HTTPS. TIBCO MFT Internet Server uses port 7080 for HTTP and port 7443 for HTTPS.
You must always back up the database before you upgrade TIBCO MFT Command Center. Before upgrading the final instance of TIBCO MFT Internet Server or TIBCO MFT Command Center from version 7.2.x, you must take an additional backup of the database, which will be used if you need to revert to a prior version of MFT.
