Executing Remote Commands Using the Command Line

Instead of following the Execute Remote Command parameter fields display rules, after the first Execute Remote Command command screen is displayed, you can press F9. And as you press the Page down button, all the parameter fields in the Execute Remote Command command are displayed.

Procedure

  1. Enter the command CFEXECMD on the command line and press F4.
    The following screen is displayed:

  2. Enter Remote Location or *IPADDR and Execute Command mandatory parameter fields and press F9.

    Note: If a remote location has not been defined, you can still use the command line. When the value for the Remote Location is set to *IPADDR, an additional parameter field labeled Internet Address is displayed for the IP address or IP name of the remote system.
  3. Enter values in the parameter fields as required. For parameter descriptions, see the Execute Remote Command Parameters section.
    Press the Page Down key for the rest of the parameter fields.
