Assigning Draft Promoters to a Single Document

Assign draft promoters to a document. A document is initially created as a draft version until it is promoted to a master. Draft promoters can promote draft documents to master documents. By default the person who uploaded the document is automatically assigned as a draft promoter.

Procedure

1.Click the Documents link on the navigation bar and search for the document you want to add new promoters to.

2.Click View draft.

3.Click Manage users.

4.To add a promoter click in the search field and start typing the name of the user or group.  Alternatively, click the down arrow to display a list of users and groups.

The available users or groups will be displayed as you type, therefore you may not need to enter the full name.

5.Click to add them.

Note: To remove a promoter from the list, click the check box to select them, and then click .

6.Click the 2nd down arrow of the user or group in the list, and select can promote draft.

Note: A document can only have one owner and author, however you can select multiple promoters.

7.Repeat steps 4, 5 and 6 for each user and group you want to add.

8.Click Save.
