Top  Previous  Next

You can move existing process diagrams to a new process map to be able to break down large maps as per their functional areas.

Prerequisites

You must have edit permissions to be able to move the selected diagrams.

The diagrams to be moved must be unlocked if they are in draft status. For more information about unlocking process diagrams, see Unlocking Process Diagrams.

Procedure

1.Click the Process link on the navigation bar and navigate to the process you want to move.

2.You can search for the diagram you want to move. You can also scroll down and select it from the process names displayed in the Diagram explorer. Click the icon next to the process diagram you want to move to a new map and click Move to new map.
Alternatively, click More on the top right hand corner and select Move.

3.In the Move to new map dialog box that opens, select the folder you want to move into and click Next.

4.By default, the Map name input box is populated by the current diagram name if it has one. If you want a new name, type a new name for the map.

5.Select all the objects associated with the diagram that you want to move with the diagram and then click Move to new map.
You can see the progress of the move action in the Progress manager. If the moving action fails, you can click the Details link in the Progress manager to see the reason for failure.

Note: You cannot move a top level diagram.
