Text can be added to flow lines and the input and output triggers of activities can be defined in this way. The text becomes associated with the flow line, therefore if the flow line is moved then the text is moved with it.
1.Double-click the flow line and enter the text.
Note: To change the font, from the Edit menu choose Font. When text is highlighted you can embolden (Ctrl+B), italicize (Ctrl+I) or underline (Ctrl+U) it. 2.Click OK
Keywords Selected text can be used to define and add keywords to the Keywords Library. Keywords created in this way will be automatically associated with the current diagram. Highlight the text that you want to define as a keyword, right-click it and choose Add as Keyword.
For more information about Keywords, see Creating Keywords.
Commentary Text Commentary text is a way to provide additional supporting information about a flow line to users. Associated flow line commentary text is accessible to users in storyboards, in the Activity Details Panel for a selected activity and when a user hovers their mouse over the flow line within a diagram.
To add commentary text to a flow line, right-click the flow line and choose Commentary. Commentary text can also be created for multiple languages, as you can with general flow line text. To prevent commentary text appearing as hint text when users roll their mouse over the flow line, right-click the flow line and deselect Show Commentary as Hint Text. You can also deselect this option for multiple selected flow lines in one operation. Commentary text can be edited by right-clicking a flow line and choosing Commentary.
Hint: You can also define commentary text at the same time as defining flow line text. In the Text window, after defining/modifying the flow line text, choose File > Save and Edit Commentary.
