Data tables can be organized in folders. To create and edit data table folders you must either be an administrator or a data tables manager.
1.From the Tools menu choose Data Tables > Data Tables. 2.From the File menu choose Add New Folder. Note: To create a sub-folder, ensure the parent folder is selected before creating the new folder. 3.In the Folder Name field, enter a name for the folder. Note: By default, all users will have read/write access to the data table folder. This means that all users will be able to view and edit the data table folder. To modify access rights on the folder: 4.Click the Folder Access tab. 5.In the Default Access panel, select the default access rights for all users.
Read and write allows users to view and edit a data table folder (note that only data table managers, data table administrators and administrators can edit data table folders). Read only allows users to view but not edit a data table folder. Access Denied prevents users from viewing and editing a data table folder.
In the Specific User Access panel you can assign access rights for specific users and/or user groups. 6.Click Add 7.After you have assigned users/user group permissions, click OK.
If you have read/write access to a folder you can rename a folder and update the access rights.
1.From the Tools menu choose Data Tables>Data Tables. 2.Select the folder that you want to edit and from the File menu choose Edit Selected Folder.
You must have read/write access to a folder to be able to delete it. Note that you can only delete empty folders so if any data tables exist within the target folder they must either be moved or deleted first.
1.From the Tools menu choose Data Tables>Data Tables. 2.Select the folder that you want to delete and from the File menu choose Delete Selected Folder.
