Redirecting Links

You may be asked if you want to redirect diagram links, depending on your user preferences. One thing to consider when you export a process variant but choose not to remove the lower levels is where you want any diagram links (sign posts, flow-line links and diagram link attachments) and users' To-do items to point to after the export. An option in your user preferences - Show diagram link redirection prompt - allows you to choose to redirect diagram links and move users' To-do items to the exported diagrams during the process. If you do not enable this option then diagram links and To-do items will be maintained on the original diagrams.

Below is a table showing what happens to data when exporting a process variant. Note that metadata refers to feedback, change requests, logs, users (authorizers, reviewers, acknowledgers) and access rights.
