Create a process variant |

You can create a number of business process variants for a specific process. A system option defines the identifier used for process variant diagrams.
1.Right-click the activity and from the Drill Down menu choose Manage Variants.
The Manage Variants window will be displayed.
Note: This option is only available if at least one drill down has been created. See Create a drill down for more information.
2.Click New.
3.Choose one of the following options:
•New Blank Diagram will create a new blank diagram with the inputs and outputs from the parent diagram. •Existing Variant will allow you to choose an existing variant diagram for that activity. The diagram content will then be copied to the new variant diagram. •Import Existing Map will allow you to import an existing map from the current process repository (as you do when importing a drill down).
4.Click OK to create the process variant.
You are now ready to draw the process variant. If input and output lines were associated with the parent activity then these will form the inputs and outputs of the new diagram.
