View active users

You can view which users are currently using the author client. If required, you can also send an email to all active users.

1.From the Tools menu choose Users, then Active Users.

Email Active Users

To email all active users, from the File menu (in the Active Users window) choose Email All Active Users.

Remove Inactive Users

Sometimes user accounts may be shown as active but are actually inactive. This may occur, for example, if a user quits the Author Client abnormally. To remove a user from the list of active users, select the user and from the File menu choose Remove Record of Active User.
