Editing Process Diagrams

Top  Previous  Next

If you are an author you can create and edit process diagrams that you have read/write access to in the web.

To edit a diagram click Edit diagram. When you have finished making any changes click Save and then Done.

You can switch the language to use in the content of a process diagram by clicking the Switch languages icon in the collaboration bar at the top or by clicking My profile > Preferred language. For more information about setting languages, see Content Languages.

Points to note after you switch to a non-default language:

You can edit activity text, line text, and free text in the selected language by using the inline editor.

You can edit activity text, activity commentary, and activity notes, line text and line commentary, free text, free text hint, and image hint by using the object properties panel.

You can edit activity text, activity commentary, and activity notes, line text and line commentary and free text by using the pop-up editor. The text in default language is read-only; but the text in the non-default language can be edited.

If you have added any text to an object in the default language, you can see the text in the default language in the hover help to assist you in translating the text when in edit mode. No text is displayed for objects that do not have any text in the default language.

In edit mode, resource names in the resources library are displayed in the language of your choice if they are available in that language; else they are displayed in the default language.

In view mode, the details of a resource are displayed in a language of your choice if available; else they are displayed in the default language.

In view mode, if you select a language in which there is no translation, the content is displayed in the default language.
