Migration and Compatibility

Version 2.9.0 of TIBCO Spotfire® Deployment Kit for Apple iOS is compatible with, and was built and tested with, Xcode version 8.3.1 on an Apple development system using iOS 10.11.

  • Version 2.9.0 of the Spotfire Deployment Kit for Apple iOS recommends Xcode version 8.3.1.
  • Version 2.9.0 of the Spotfire Deployment Kit for Apple iOS targets iOS version 9.0 and higher. Suppport for targeting earlier versions of iOS has been removed.

If the app is used in iOS version 10, you must add the entitlement for keychain sharing for the app in Xcode. See TIBCO Spotfire® Deployment Kit for Apple iOS help for instructions.
