If you want to be able to use a data connection in multiple analyses or share it with other users, you can create a data connection item in the library.
Procedure

In the Spotfire Windows client, on the menu bar, select

In the
Manage Data Connections dialog, select
and choose the selected data connection type from the list.
The connection configuration dialog for the selected data source opens.

Provide all the necessary input for the connection to the data source and specify which data to include.

Save the connection to the library.
