This view of the login dialog is shown if your Spotfire administrator has configured a server with multiple different deployment areas (for example, to allow a limited number of users test a new Spotfire version while others still use the old version) and your user identity has been granted access to more than one of these areas.

Allows you to select which deployment area to connect to. Deployment areas are configured by the Spotfire administrator and make it possible for your company to give different users access to different versions of the Spotfire client, while still using a single Spotfire server. Contact your administrator if you do not know which deployment area to connect to. |

Select this check box to always connect to the selected deployment area and skip this step of the login in the future (as long as you have access to the selected area). Note: If you have selected this check box but later need to connect to a different deployment area, you can go to the Edit server view of the login dialog and click on the link at the bottom of the dialog. This clears the preselected deployment area and allows you to see the Select deployment areas view of the login dialog again, provided that your group access still allows multiple deployment areas. |
