Sorting the combination chart

You can select a series to sort the X-axis by in a combination chart.

About this task

When you sort, the bars or the line in a series are sorted from the highest to the lowest value.

In the image, there is a combination chart with three series; one bar series and two line series. The three combination charts at the bottom show the results when sorting it by respective series.

Procedure

Right-click the combination chart, and select Properties in the opened menu.
The Properties popover is shown.
Click Layout and sorting.
The Layout and sorting section is shown.
In the Sort X-axis by drop-down menu, select the series to sort by.

Tip: If you want to sort a series from the lowest to the highest value, place the cursor on the X-axis, and click the area that is highlighted. Then select Reverse scale in the opened pop-up menu.
