Limiting streaming data to a time range

When you are working with streaming data and you want to limit the data in the visualization to a specific time range, you can define the time range in the Limit streaming data to a time range dialog.

Procedure

From the Column drop-down list, select the column you want to use when specifying a time range.
In From and To, specify a starting point and an end point by selecting a time unit and entering a number if applicable.

Note: Click Edit to open the Limit Data Using Expression dialog, where you can write your own expression to specify a start or end point for the time range.

Note: When you select multiple visualizations and open the Limit streaming data to a time range dialog, a streaming data time range will be added to all selected visualizations. Verify the settings before you apply them by clicking OK.
