Schedules

You can use the Spotfire Metrics Modeler schedule feature to the improve scalability and enhance performance of the TIBCO Spotfire Metrics Viewer and Web Service, especially for large data sources.

Schedules provide the following functionality.
  • Refresh (the frequency of content updating).
  • Caching (storing refreshed content in memory between refreshes).

Scheduling applies to the following levels.

  • Query dataset results.
  • Spotfire Metrics Viewer Service.
  • Web Service/Spotfire Metrics.

Using Spotfire Metrics Modeler, you can add, edit, and delete a schedule. You can filter and sort schedules. You can also review schedule details such as its query, when it is to run, its run interval, and the last time and date the schedule was run, if any.

  • Adding a Schedule
    After you have added a query, you can add a schedule to update the data by following these steps in the Spotfire Metrics Modeler.
  • Editing a Schedule
    If you need to edit information for an existing schedule in Spotfire Metrics, follow these steps in Spotfire Metrics Modeler .
  • Deleting a Schedule
    If you need to delete a schedule, follow these steps in the Spotfire Metrics Modeler.
