Spotfire Metrics Modeler Queries

Use the TIBCO Spotfire Metrics queries to create datasets from your data sources to create KPI Sets.

You perform query tasks from the Queries tab of the Spotfire Metrics Modeler user interface.

In the Queries tab, you can do the following.

  • Sort queries by clicking the column head.
  • Add, edit, refresh, and delete a query.
  • Adding a Query
    After you have configured your data source using Spotfire Metrics Modeler, you can add a query, which in turn, enables you to create a KPI Set.
  • Editing a Query
    If you want to change the details of a query, follow these steps in the TIBCO Spotfire Metrics.
  • Refreshing a Query
    If the data changes, you can refresh the query manually for the Spotfire Metrics Modeler.
  • Deleting a Query
    You can delete a query in the Spotfire Metrics Modeler if it has no KPI Sets using it.
  • Joining Queries
    After you have created more than one query, you can join queries to create a new query in the Spotfire Metrics Modeler.
