Authentication and Authorization
The following image provides an overview of the available authentication and authorization options for Spotfire.
Note: You can implement other methods using APIs.
Generally, authentication and authorization occur in the following sequence, as shown in the illustration.
- Authentication established: determined by one of the configurations shown in the left panel of the illustration.
- User directory authorization.
- Groups and roles authorization.
- Licenses authorization.
- Preferences authorization.
