Setting idle session timeout and absolute session timeout by using the configuration tool
Both session timeout values can be adjusted in the Security section of the Spotfire® Server configuration tool.
Procedure
- If the configuration tool is not open, open it; for instructions see Opening the configuration tool.

On the
Configuration page, at the bottom of the left pane, click
Security.
- Under Configure Session Management you can change the number of minutes for the idle session timeout and absolute session timeout.
- Click Save configuration.
- Restart the Spotfire Server.
