You can verify that a data source template you created is available for use by the data source in the Spotfire Information Designer.
Procedure

Log in to
Spotfire Analyst as an administrator.

Select

Click
Set Up Data Source.

Enter a name for the data source connection.

Specify the type of data source.

Enter the
connection URL and
max/min-values for the connection pool.

Enter a user name and a password to connect to the database.
Note: This step does not apply to Kerberos.

Click
Save.

In the left pane, click the
Data sources tab.
Results
The data source name is displayed in the tree to the left, ready for use.
