Adds users or certificates as trusted signers for a principal (user or group).

Overview

Use this command to make a principal (a user or a group) trust other users or certificates.

Options

Option Optional or Required Default Value Description
-b value
--bootstrap-config=value
Optional none The path to the bootstrap configuration file. See Bootstrap.xml file for more information about this file.
-t value
--tool-password=value
Optional none The configuration tool password used to decrypt the database password in the file bootstrap.xml. If the tool password is omitted, the command prompts the user for it in the console. See Bootstrap.xml file.
-u value
--username=value
Optional none The user name of the user to add trust for. The --username and --groupname arguments are mutually exclusive.
-g value
--groupname=value
Optional none The group name of the group to add trust for. The --username and --groupname arguments are mutually exclusive.
--trust-user=value
Optional none The user name of the user to trust. The user name should be on the form user@DOMAIN.
--trust-user-role=value
Optional none The code trust role of the user to trust. The valid roles are
  • developer (for visualization mods development)
  • configurator (for configuration of external actions)

Optional none The code entity type to trust. The valid types are
  • mod
  • external_action

-n value | --serial-number=value
Optional none The serial number of the certificate to trust. Must be specified together with the --issuer argument.
-i value | --issuer=value
Optional none The issuer of the certificate to trust. Must be specified together with the --serial-number argument.
--certificate-role=value
Optional none The code trust role of the certificate to trust. The valid roles are
  • developer (certificates used for signing visualization mods)
  • configurator (certificates used for signing external actions)
