Overview
Use this command to configure the encryption of sensitive information such as service account passwords, including changing the encryption password.Options

The name of a user to perform modifications to library items such as data sources. The
username is given on the form
username@domain .
Note: If the user is in the default domain
(
SPOTFIRE ), it is sufficient with just the
username .
The user must have library administrator permission. |

Optional | none | When this flag is specified the encryption
password will be updated.
Note: After running the command with this flag the
bootstrap.xml file on each Spotfire
Server (except this one) must be updated using the
update-bootstrap command.

Optional | none | The new encryption password. If no
encryption password is given and the
--update-encryption-password flag is given,
then the tool will prompt for the password, unless the
--no-prompt flag is given.

Optional | 128 | The encryption key length to use. Can be one of '128', '192' and '256'. If no value is given then no change will be made. |

Optional | none | When this flag is specified, the tool will not prompt for any missing password arguments. |

Optional | none | When this flag is specified, the encryption
configuration will be updated even if the encryption password in the given
bootstrap configuration file does not match the one currently in use.
Warning: Any previously configured secret
passwords will have to be reconfigured if this option is used.
This option is only meant as a last resort if the current encryption password and all bootstrap.xml files with it have been lost. |
