Disabling a user account makes it impossible for the user to log
in to
Spotfire,
but keeps their record in the system for reference or for enabling them again
in the future.

Procedure

Log in to the
Spotfire Server
web administration pages and click
Users.

On the
Users page, right-click the user account that
you want to disable (use search if you have a long list of users), and then
click
Disable.
Tip: To
disable several user accounts at the same time, select the check box for each
account that you want to disable, and then click
Disable above the table.
Results
The disabled account
appears grayed out in the Users list.
