Spotfire Extensions license

The Extensions license provides access to several tools that are available in Spotfire Analyst. It also enables users to author scripts and to use custom extensions.

Author Scripts	Author scripts. Important: To save scripts and data functions as "trusted" in the library, a user must also be a member of the Script Author group. Because scripts can introduce errors or even cause the Spotfire applications to fail, only users that have sufficient competence to develop and deploy scripts should be allowed in the Script Author group. Only scripts that are saved as "trusted" can be run in the web client, with an exception for simple data functions based on Spotfire Enterprise Runtime for R, that can be executed in restricted mode. Automation Services Job Builder Tool	Access the Automation Services Job Builder tool, which is used to create automated procedures that carry out multi-step tasks.
Develop Visualization Mod	Create and develop visualization mods in Spotfire.
Open Visualization Mod from Library	Open visualization mods (.mod files) from the library.
Open/Save Local Visualization Mod	Open and save visualization mods (.mod files) locally.
Save Visualization Mod to Library	Save visualization mods (.mod files) to the library.
Trust External Actions	Determine whether to trust external actions that have been configured by others. Note that if this license is assigned to the Anonymous User group, users can trust external actions, but trust decisions will not be stored, so the trust decision must be taken each time an analysis containing an untrusted external action is reopened.
Trust Mods	Be allowed to trust mods developed by others. Note that if this license is assigned to the Anonymous User group, users can trust mods, but trust decisions will not be stored, so the trust decision must be taken each time an analysis containing an untrusted mod is opened.
Qualification Compare Tool	Access the Qualification Compare tool, which allows users to verify that a Spotfire analysis gives the same results on different installations of Spotfire. The tool is designed especially for clinical and other regulated industries. An administrator must deploy the Spotfire Qualification package to make the tool available. The Spotfire Qualification license, which is also required, is sold separately.
Qualification Export Tool	Access the Qualification Export tool, which allows users to export an analysis with the Qualification tool. An administrator must deploy the Spotfire Qualification package to make the tool available. The Spotfire Qualification license, which is also required, is sold separately.
