Insert Object
Right-click on a system folder and select Insert File. After you insert a file from your local computer into Enterprise Manager, the Insert Object properties page is displayed. See also the Statistica Enterprise General Document Storage overview.
- Name
- The name of the inserted object is displayed in this field, and can be edited.
- Description
- Type in a description of the object (optional).
- Versioning
- You can include/exclude specific documents from version tracking on a case-by-case basis. If the Versioning check box is selected then this document will be versioned; otherwise it will not be. The Versioning check box is selected by default when you create a new object. However, if the check box is cleared, you will need to select it to enable versioning for that document.
- Version
- Displays the version of the object.
- Versions
- Click this button to display the Document history dialog box.
- Type
- Displays the extension/type of the object.
- System View Folder
- Displays the name of the folder in which the object resides.
- Attach
- Click this button to display the Select a folder dialog box, where you can attach the object to any existing folder.
- Detach
- Click this button to detach the object from its current folder.
- Locate
- Click this button to show the selected folder to which this object is attached. The System View node in the tree view will expand (if necessary), and the cursor will briefly 'flash' between highlighting the folder to which the Analysis Configuration is attached and the object itself.
- Open/Edit
- Click this button to open or edit the file stored in Statistica Enterprise.
- Update from file
- Click this button to update the file stored in Statistica Enterprise with a file from a Windows folder.
- Save As
- Click this button to save the object in another location.
- Access Permissions
- Click this button to display the Access Permissions properties page.
