Statistica Enterprise Permissions

Statistica Enterprise provides three levels of permissions to provide granular control over what each user can see and do in the system. The levels of permissions are:

 1. System Permissions. The permissions assigned to Users/Groups via the User Administration node in the System View.

  1. Analysis Module Permissions. The permissions to utilize specific Statistica analyses; assigned to Users/Groups via the User Administration node in the System View.
  2. Object Permissions. Each configuration object is assigned use and use/edit/delete levels of permissions. These permissions are assigned via the Access Permissions node in the System View respective to the object.

 Following is an overview of the System Permissions:

 Alarm Admin (ALRMADM). Related to Server Tasks and Dashboards in the Statistica Monitoring and Alerting Server (MAS). A user with this permission is able to acknowledge an alarm generated by a Server Task.
Analysis Admin (AADM)
 Enables the user to specify Analysis Configurations.
Automated Collection (ADC)
Enables the user to send data to the Statistica database via the Automated Data Collection (ADC) library.
Dashboard User (DUSR)
Required for a user to be able to use Dashboards.
Data Admin (DADM)
Required to configure Data Configurations.
Data Entry (DE)
Required to use Data Entry Setups.
Data Entry Admin (EDE)
Required to configure Data Entry Setups.
Data Entry Approver (DEAPPRV)
Required to approve Batch Data when using Data Entry Setups.
Database Admin (EXTDB_ADM)
Required to configure Database Connections.
Folder Admin (FADM)
Allows users to manage system folders (create new, rename, delete) without having full Administrator permissions.
Historical Edit (HEDIT)
Required to review and edit historical samples using Data Entry Setups.
Override (OVR)
Required to override reasonable limit checks in Data Entry Setups.
Report Admin (RADM)
Required to configure Reports.
Server Task Admin (STADM)
Required to configure Server Tasks for use by the Statistica Monitoring and Alerting Server (MAS).
System Admin (SADM)
The system "super-user," which enables the user to review/edit/delete any system configuration and is a super set of all of the other system permissions.
User (USR)
This permission is necessary to use the system.
User Admin (UADM)
 Necessary to manage system Users and Groups.
Web User (WUSR)
 Necessary to use the system via a Web browser.
Web Viewer (WVWR)
Necessary to review reports via the Statistica Enterprise Server Knowledge Portal.
