General CHAID Models Quick Specs

Select Standard CHAID or CHAID with coded design on the Quick tab of the General CHAID Models Startup Panel and click OK to display the General CHAID Models Quick specs dialog box, which contains five tabs: Quick, Classification, Stopping, Validation, and Advanced.

Click this button to display the GCHAID Results dialog box.
Cancel
Click this button to close the dialog box without performing an analysis.
Exhaustive search
A modification to the basic CHAID algorithm, Exhaustive CHAID, performs a more thorough merging and testing of predictor variables, and hence requires more computing time. Select the Exhaustive search check box to perform an exhaustive search; for further details, see Basic Tree-Building Algorithm: CHAID and Exhaustive CHAID.
Options
Click this button to display the Options menu.
SELECT CASES
Click this button to display the Analysis/Graph Case Selection Conditions dialog box, which is used to create conditions for which cases will be included (or excluded) in the current analysis. More information is available in the case selection conditions overview, syntax summary, and dialog description.
W
Click the W (Weight) button to display the Analysis/Graph Case Weights dialog box, which is used to adjust the contribution of individual cases to the outcome of the current analysis by "weighting" those cases in proportion to the values of a selected variable.

Click this button to display the General CHAID Analysis Syntax Editor.
