Fit Distributions - Discrete Variables Tab

Select the Discrete variables tab of the Fit Distributions dialog box to access the options described here.

<< Prev./Next >>

When more than one discrete variable is selected for the analysis, you can switch between them via the << Prev. and Next >> buttons (or use the adjacent drop-down menu).

The specifications for each variable are unique (such as  all selected distributions only apply to the current variable, and different variables can have different specifications).

Distribution

In this group box, select one or more discrete distributions to fit to your selected discrete variables.

Select all

Toggle

Click this button to toggle between selecting all options and clearing all options in this group box.

Binomial

Select the Binomial check box to fit the Binomial distribution to the currently selected variable.

Number of Trials

Select the Number of Trials check box to specify the number of trials for the selected variable. If this option is not selected, the maximum value of the selected variable will be used as the number of trials.

Poisson

Select the Poisson check box to fit the Poisson distribution to the currently selected variable.

Geometric

Select the Geometric check box to fit the Geometric distribution to the currently selected variable.

Bernoulli

Select the Bernoulli check box to fit the Bernoulli distribution to the currently selected variable.

Histogram

Select the Histogram check box to fit the Histogram distribution to the currently selected variable.
