GLM Between Effects (Polynomial Regression)
Click the Between effects button on the GLM Quick Specs Dialog - Quick tab to display the GLM Between Effects dialog. Note that you must first select Polynomial Regression as your Type of analysis on the GLM Startup Panel - Quick tab for this dialog to be displayed. This dialog will also be displayed in the GLM, GLZ, and PLS modules.
Element Name | Description |

Use default polynomials to degree 2 | Select the Use default polynomials to degree 2 option button and Statistica uses polynomials to the second degree for the polynomial regression model. This is the default setting. |
Use polynomials to specified degree | Select the Use polynomials to specified degree option button and Statistica analyzes the polynomial regression model to the degree specified in the degree field. |
Degree | Specify the polynomial degree for the design in the degree field. |
OK | Click the OK button to close the dialog box and return to the GLM Quick Specs Dialog - Quick tab, after you have selected the polynomial regression degree. |
Cancel | Click the Cancel button to close the dialog box and return to the
GLM Quick Specs Dialog - Quick tab; any changes made are disregarded.
