Gage Repeatability & Reproducibility Results - Options Tab

Select the Options tab of the Gage Repeatability & Reproducibility Results dialog box to access options to specify the tolerance value for parts and the number of Sigma intervals that are to be used in the computations for the percent tolerance analysis. The computational formulas for most of these computations are described in Technical Notes.

Options for percent tolerance analysis
Enter values in these boxes to compute gage capability as percent of total tolerance.
Total tolerance for parts
Enter the tolerance value you want Statistica to use. In short, the tolerance value is used to compute the percent tolerance values, that is, to express the variability due to reproducibility and repeatability errors relative to the engineering tolerance.
Number of sigma intervals
Enter the number of Sigma intervals you want Statistica to use. This parameter is used to determine the range of repeatability and reproducibility errors; by default (number of sigma intervals = 5.15), this range contains 99% of the errors, assuming the normal distribution.
