Ribbon bar. Select the Graphs tab. In the More group, click Input Data Graphs. The 3D Histogram by submenu contains commands to plot four bivariate different (3-dimensional) histograms.

In many spreadsheets, (e.g., correlation matrices and other "matrix" tables) the selection of the second variable is determined by the currently highlighted position on the spreadsheet. In other cases however, as in 2D Histograms, when you choose one of these plots (described below), the Select Single Variable dialog box will be displayed in which you will need to select a variable to be plotted with the currently highlighted variable. The types of 3D histograms available from this option are based on the types of data that you could have (continuous or discrete) in your data file. Both variables will be divided into categories for this plot. When a selected variable is categorical (usually 10 or less categories), Statistica will use those categories as the histogram intervals for that variable. If a variable has either more than 10 categories or its values are non-integers (continuous), then Statistica will divide the values into about 10 to 12 intervals based on the range of the values.
