Workspace Node: MARSplines - Results - Quick Tab

In the MARSplines node dialog box, under the Results heading, select the Quick tab to access the following options.

Element Name Description
Summary Select this check box to produce a spreadsheet containing summary details for the current model for all dependent variables specified for the analyses.
Coefficients Select this check box to produce a spreadsheet containing the model coefficients; refer to the Introductory Overview and Technical Notes for details. You can also refer to the Example for further information.
Predictor importance Select this check box to produce a spreadsheet containing information regarding the number of references to each predictor in the final prediction equation. In other words, the spreadsheet will show how many times each predictor is referenced in the basis functions that make up the final model. Hence, this results spreadsheet reflects on the importance of each predictor for the final prediction.
Statistics Select this check box to produce a spreadsheet containing statistics relating to regression and classification results (whichever is appropriate). For regression tasks, the spreadsheet will contain the means and standard deviations of the observed and predicted variables and their residuals. The spreadsheet also includes the R-square and adjusted R-square values for each dependent variable. For classification tasks, the spreadsheet will display the confusion matrix.
Predictions & residuals Use the options in this group box to compute predicted values and residuals (accuracy for classification) for each dependent variable specified in the analysis. Depending on the choice of options in the Include group box (see below), the results will include the values for the independent or predictor variables, dependent or outcome variables, predicted values, and/or residual values.
Descriptive statistics Select this check box to produce a spreadsheet of descriptive statistics for the variables in the current analysis.
Predictions Select this check box to produce a spreadsheet of the variables and results selected in the Include group box.
Histograms Select this check box to produce histograms of the variables and results selected in the Include group box.
Include In this group box, select the type of values that you want to include in the results when computing descriptive statistics, results for the observations (cases) in the analyses, or histograms.
Independents Select this check box to include the independent variable values in spreadsheets and graphs.
Dependents Select this check box to include the dependent variable values in spreadsheets and graphs
Predictions Select this check box to include predicted values in spreadsheets and graphs.
Accuracy/Residuals Select this check box to include the respective statistics in spreadsheets and graphs. The option is named Accuracy for classification analyses, and Residuals for regression analyses.
Confidence levels Select this check box to include classification confidence levels (available only for classification analyses).

OK Click the OK button to accept all the specifications made in the dialog box and to close it. The analysis results will be placed in the Reporting Documents node after running (updating) the project.
