Compute the Set from Ranges or Codes
Click the Next button in the Label (name) for the new set of samples dialog box to display the Compute the set from ranges or codes? dialog box. See also, The Nature of Sets.
Compute statistics from
Range of consecutive samples
Select this option button to compute statistics from a range of consecutive samples.
Samples marked by a coding variable
Select this option button to compute statistics from samples marked by a coding variable.
Next
Click the Next button to display the next dialog box in the Wizard. If the Range of consecutive samples option button (see above) is selected, the next dialog box to be displayed will be Specify the range of samples for computing the set statistics. If the Samples marked by a coding variable option button (see above) is selected, the next dialog box to be displayed will be Specify the coding variable and code for the computations.
