ISO 21747 / DIN 55319 - Process Capability Setup - Outliers & Tests Tab
When the DIN 55319 option button is selected on the Quick tab, the name of the dialog box is DIN 55319 - Process Capability Setup.
Select the Outliers & tests tab to access the options described here.
- Automatically remove outlier
- The Automatically remove outlier group box contains options for performing the Grubbs test to remove outliers.
- Grubbs test (iteratively applied up to k times)
- Select the Grubbs test (iteratively applied up to k times) check box to perform the Grubbs test for removing outliers.
- k value
- Enter the k value, which specifies the number of iterations or passes through the data that will be completed.
p value (fail test if p<..). Enter the p value that defines the cutoff for an outlier.
- Tests for constant location
- The Test for constant location group box contains options for specifying tests for constant location.
- F-test (ANOVA)
- Select the F-test (ANOVA) check box to perform an analysis of variance for constant means.
- Kruskal Wallis test
- Select the Kruskal Wallis test check box to perform a Kruskal Wallis test for constant medians.
- Median test
- Select the Median test check box to perform a Median test for constant medians.
p value: (fail test if p<..). Enter the p-value that defines statistical significance for the selected tests of constant location.
- Tests for constant variance
- The Tests for constant variance group box contains options for performing tests for constant variance.
- Levene test
- Select the Levene test check box to perform the Levene's test for constant variances.
- Brown-Forsythe test
- Select the Brown-Forsythe test check box to perform the Brown-Forsythe test for constant variances.
p value: (fail test if p<..). Enter the p-value that defines statistical significance for the selected tests of constant variance.
- Boos test for constant Skewness and Kurtosis
- Select the Boos test for constant Skewness and Kurtosis check box to perform this test.
p value: (fail test if p<..). Enter the p-value that defines statistical significance for the Boos test for constant skewness and location.
- Tests for linear trend
- Tests for linear trend will be conducted by default.
p value: (fail test if p<..). Enter the p-value that defines statistical significance for the tests for linear trend.
