ISO 21747 / DIN 55319 Process Capability Setup Dialog and Quick Tab

Select Process Capability ISO/DIN (Time dependent distribution model) from the Process Analysis Procedures Startup Panel - Quick tab to display the ISO 21747 - Process Capability Setup dialog box / DIN 55319 - Process Capability Setup dialog box.

When the ISO 21747 option button (located in the Select standard group box) is selected, the name of the dialog box is ISO 21747 - Process Capability Setup, and it contains the following eight tabs: Quick, Grouping, Distributions, Outliers & tests, Normality, Method option, Options M2, M3, and Options M1 (l,d).

When the DIN 55319 option button is selected, the name of the dialog box is DIN 55319 - Process Capability Setup, and it contains the following eight tabs: Quick, Grouping, Distributions, Outliers & tests, Normality, Method option, Options M3 M4, and Options M5, M6.

OK
Click the OK button to display the Process Capability Results dialog box.
Cancel
Click the Cancel button to close the dialog box without performing an analysis and return to the Process Analysis Procedures Startup Panel.
Options
Click the Options button to display the Options menu.
Select Cases
Click the Select Cases button to display the Analysis/Graph Case Selection Conditions dialog box, which is used to create conditions for which cases will be included (or excluded) in the current analysis. More information is available in the case selection conditions overview and syntax summary. Note that other options are provided in the subsequent dialogs to specifically identify observations that are to be used as a test sample (see also the Overview for details).
W
Click the W (Weight) button to display the Analysis/Graph Case Weights dialog box, which is used to adjust the contribution of individual cases to the outcome of the current analysis by "weighting" those cases in proportion to the values of a selected variable.
By Group
Click the By Group button to display the By Group specification dialog box.
Select standard
Select one of two standard options, ISO 21747 or DIN 55319.

Quick Tab

Select the Quick tab of the Process Capability Analysis Setup dialog box to access options to select the variables for the analysis and optional grouping variable with sample codes (if the data consist of multiple samples, e.g., if the data were collected to produce a quality control chart).

Variables
Click the Variables button to display the standard variable selection dialog box, in which you select the variables with the process measurements of interest, and an optional grouping variable with codes to identify to which sample each observation belongs. If a grouping variable is specified, then STATISTICA will compute capability indices (based on the inherent variation) and performance indices (based on the total variation; see ASQC/AIAG, 1991).
Process specs
The Process specs button is only available after Variables have been selected. Click the Process specs button to display the Enter/edit specification limits dialog box, in which you specify the process (engineering) specification limits from which the capability indices (e.g. Cpk) and performance indices (e.g. Ppk) will be calculated.
