Copying Cases

Unlike the Clipboard operation of copying the contents of a highlighted range or block of values in the spreadsheet, this option copies both the contents of the rows and the rows itself (regardless of whether or not all variables or only a subset of variables are currently highlighted for the respective cases). The subsequent cases are inserted into the spreadsheet resulting in an increase in the size of the file. You can place a copy of the specified cases at a designated location by specifying the range (inclusive) of cases to be copied and the spreadsheet location (insert after which case) in the Copy Cases dialog box.
