Generalized Linear/Nonlinear Models - Quick Tab

Select the Quick tab of the Generalized Linear/Nonlinear Models Startup Panel to access options to select the appropriate generalized linear model for the design. In order to perform a generalized linear/nonlinear model analysis, a data file must be selected at this point.

Element Name Description
Generalized linear model The Generalized linear model list contains the most typical models for a design; for additional models, select the GLZ Startup Panel - Advanced tab. Note that when you choose an option from this list, the Specification Method on the Advanced tab will by default be set to Quick specs dialog and the Type of analysis will be set to General custom designs.
Logit model Select Logit model to set the Distribution to Binomial and the Link function to Logit on the GLZ Startup Panel - Advanced tab.
Probit model Select Probit model to set the Distribution to Binomial and the Link function to Probit on the Advanced tab.
Multinomial logit model Select Multinomial logit model to set the Distribution to Multinomial and the Link function to Logit on the Advanced tab.
Ordinal logit model Select Ordinal logit model to set the Distribution to Ordinal multinomial and the Link function to Logit on the Advanced tab.
