Weibull & Reliability/Failure Time Analysis
Select Weibull analysis & reliability/failure time analysis from the Process Analysis Procedures Startup Panel and click the OK button to display the Weibull & Reliability/Failure Time Analysis dialog. This dialog contains two tabs: Raw data and Grouped data. Use the
tab to specify the variables for the Weibull analysis & reliability/failure time analysis if your data set consists of raw failure times, with or without censoring. Use theGrouped data
tab to specify the variables for the Weibull analysis & reliability/failure time analysis if your data set consists of aggregated or tabulated (grouped) failure times, for example, if your data file consists of a life table. The Introductory Overview discusses the options available for grouped data; see also the Survival Analysis module for a discussion of life tables.OK
Click the
OK button to display either the standard variable selection dialog or the
Weibull Analysis: Results (Raw Data) dialog (if variables were already selected via the
Raw data tab) or the
Weibull Analysis: Results (Grouped Data) dialog (if variables were already selected via the
Grouped data
tab).Cancel
Click the

Options
Click the
Options button to display the Options menu.
Select Cases
Click the
Select Cases button to display the
Analysis/Graph Case Selection Conditions dialog, which is used to create conditions for which cases will be included (or excluded) in the current analysis. More information is available in the case selection conditions overview, syntax summary, and dialog description.
W
Click the W (Weight) button to display the
Analysis/Graph Case Weights dialog, which is used to adjust the contribution of individual cases to the outcome of the current analysis by "weighting" those cases in proportion to the values of a selected variable.
For related procedures, see also the Survival Analysis module; for non-censoring (complete) data, you can also use the Quantile-Quantile and Probability-Probability plots from the Stats 2D Graphs menu as well as the distribution fitting options on the
