The primary documentation for updates and fixes added by each Streaming release are the Release Notes for each release.
When adopting any new Streaming release, it is the best practice to upgrade your projects in StreamBase Studio, which will offer to do so if needed. The upgrades that Studio performs will often avoid other issues with compatibility that would not be detected until the project is run or deployed on the newly adopted version of Streaming.
In turn, if a version attribute of project that should be upgraded is currently a release (non-SNAPSHOT) version, the project's version should be incremented to a new version, preferably a SNAPSHOT version until the project has proven to be stable.
This section provides guidance on migrating to newer Streaming releases from legacy releases.
