public interface Metric

Metric represents a value that should be periodically measured to track the system state. This value is tracked per instance of a given TeaObjectType.

For example, an agent extender can have following metrics:

• Uptime for an instance of TeaObjectType of concept type TeaConcept.PROCESS
• Request rate for an instance of TeaObjectType of concept type TeaConcept.ACCESS_POINT

Agent core library will periodically gather updates from all the metrics. This update is either pushed to or pulled from the TEA server. A user can then login into the TEA server to view metrics of an object instance.
