Advanced Scripting Commands
In addition to the basic scripting commands, the Shell command language supports some advanced constructs that help in scripting. Use these constructs to write complex scripts.
The following is a list of supported constructs:
- each
Calls a given function (a closure) on each of the elements in the given array. - if
Command to support conditional execution. - sort
Sorts the input objects. - set
Sets a particular option in the current session. - get
Gets the current value of a supported option from the current session.
