Upgrading a Deployed Application

You can upgrade a previously deployed application using the same methods used to deploy it in the first place.

Procedure

Make sure that no changes have been made to the application that would prevent upgrade. After an application has been initially deployed to the BPM runtime, it can only be subsequently upgraded if its service interface (defined by the WSDLs used to expose its services) has not changed.
Make sure that the application has exactly the same name as the one that you wish to upgrade. See Deployed Applications.
Deploy the application by doing one of the following:
- Using a deployment server. See Upgrading an Application Using a Deployment Server.
- Exporting to a Distributed Appl.ication Archive (DAA). See Exporting to DAA.
- Running a deployment script. See Upgrading an Application Using a Deployment Script.
