Parameters

featureTable
Type: Spotfire.Dxp.DataDataTable
A data table containing map data.

Return Value

Type: FeatureLayer
A newly created feature layer.
Exceptions
ExceptionCondition
InvalidOperationExceptionIf the map chart already contains a FeatureLayer or a PictureLayer
Remarks
The returned layer is one of PolygonLayer, LineLayer and PointLayer depending on the table content. It is not possible to add more than one feature layer.
