Creating a Snowflake Connection

To use TIBCO Flogo® Connector for Snowflake, you must first create a Snowflake connection. The Snowflake connection contains the parameters required to connect to the Snowflake tenant. The Snowflake connection is used by all the activities in the Snowflake category.

Prerequisites

Before you create a connection, ensure that you have an active Snowflake account. For details about how to use the Snowflake product, see the Snowflake product documentation.
If you want to create a connection using OAuth authentication type, you must configure your account with OAuth for custom client. For more details on configuring your Snowflake account with OAuth for custom client, see the Snowflake product documentation.
Note: For this release, integration object with key pair authentication is not supported.

Procedure

  1. In TIBCO Flogo® Enterprise, click the Connections tab and perform one of the following actions:
    • To add a connection for the first time, click the Snowflake Connector title. You can search for a connector title by typing the connector name in the search field.
    • If you already have an existing connection and want to add a new connection, click the Add Connection link.
  2. In the Snowflake Connector dialog box, enter the connection details. For field descriptions, see the Snowflake Connection Details topic.
  3. Click Save Connection.
