Uploading a PGP Encrypted File to MFT

You can upload a PGP encrypted file to MFT.

Procedure

  1. Create a PGP System Key to MFT
    See Creating a PGP System Key for details.
  2. Configure the user for PGP transfers.
  3. Add a file transfer definition to upload a file for the user.

Result

The tusr001 user can transfer an encrypted file to TIBCO MFT Internet Server, where it will be decrypted by the MFT PGP secret key.
Note: If the user does not encrypt the file before transferring, the following error will be reported in the audit records:

Exception: java.lang.Exception: Public PGP key for *LOCAL not found
