Assign authorizers

Top  Previous  Next

Users must be assigned to storyboards in order to authorize them. All authorizers must authorize a storyboard before it can be promoted and released to users.

Note: Users that are assigned as authorizers must have at least Read access to the draft storyboards.

1.In the Storyboard Management window (Tools>Storyboards), select the storyboard.

Note: You can assign the same set of authorizers to multiple storyboards in one operation by holding Ctrl when selecting storyboards. Note that this will replace any existing authorizers on the selected storyboards. Alternatively, you can assign authorizers to all storyboards within a specific folder by selecting the folder.

2.From the Manage menu choose Authorization and then Authorizers.

3.Choose the scope of storyboards to assign authorizers to.

Selected Storyboards will assign authorizers to all selected storyboards..

All Storyboards will assign authorizers to all storyboards.

Current Folder will assign authorizers to all storyboards in a selected folder.

Current Folder and Child Folders will assign authorizers to all storyboards in a folder and all child folders.

Storyboard Scope List will assign authorizers to all storyboards within a selected storyboard scope list file.

4.Click User to add users and/or user groups or Resource to add resources.

5.Click OK.

Sequence of authorizers

You can change the sequence of authorizers once they're assigned. For example, you may want one group to authorize the storyboard first before sending it to the next group. The requests will be sent by sequence number, so all users assigned as sequence 1 will be requested to authorize the storyboard first. Once those users have authorized it, the request will be sent to the next set of users.

To change the sequence number of an existing authorizer, double-click the user, user group or resource.

Removing authorizers

Select the user, user group or resource and click Remove .
