Create a storyboard from a report

New storyboards can be created from existing storyboards through the Storyboard Dependency report. Any column sorting or filtering in the report will be reflected in the generated report, i.e. the order of steps will be reflected in the new storyboard and any rows that have been filtered out will not appear in the storyboard.

1.From the Tools menu choose Storyboards.

2.Select the storyboard(s) or storyboard folder that you want to create a new storyboard from.

Note: If you are creating a storyboard from all storyboards, or a storyboard scope list file, then you do not need to select any storyboards.

3.From the Tools menu choose Storyboard Dependency.

4.Choose the scope of storyboards that you want to create a new storyboard from, and then click OK.

The Storyboard Dependency report will be generated from the selected scope of storyboards.

5.In the report, from the Tools menu choose Generate Storyboard.

6.Select a folder (if required) to create the storyboard in, and then click OK.

Note: You can create a new folder if required. From the Edit menu choose Create Folder.

7.Define the storyboard properties and add a cover image (if required), and the click OK.
