Model Loading Options

The models listed in Data Models have to be first loaded into the TIBCO OPE backend store before they can be used to handle web service requests. These data models are modeled as catalogs using various repositories and relationships available in TIBCO Product and Services Catalog (formerly known as TIBCO Fulfillment Catalog).

The data models modeled in TIBCO Product and Services Catalog are made available to TIBCO OPE in the following modes:
  • Offline Model Loading

    Data models are written to offline XML files on the file system or an equivalent storage system.

  • Online Model Loading

    Data models are published on JMS topics and read using the Message Adapter.

Note: It is recommended that you use the offline model loading mode as it provides visibility into the model loading activity progress.
